In early 2025, one of crypto's best known builders stepped into the $SHY community. He burned half the supply, designed a game, set a mission, and handed it all to the people. This is how it happened, in his own words.
From a bonfire of tokens to a finished game, told through his own posts and messages.
It started with fire. Shytoshi burned 500 million $SHY, half of every token that would ever exist, and said he'd back the community if it was serious about taking the project over.
The Shy Army was, and it was soon moving in every direction at once.
As the community took the token over, he cheered it on in public and in the Telegram, where he called it powerful, unstoppable and unlike any community takeover he'd seen.
Then he gave the community real work. He shared a full strategy doc and design doc for a world domination card game: UNO simple, Exploding Kittens wild.
Holders voted 127 card ideas down to a shortlist and picked a Japanese art style, all in about a day.
With the game nearly done, he set the next challenge: brainstorm what the community could build to bring good to the world.
In June 2025 he shared that $SHY is part of a wider AI plan. The community made it the mission: AI for good, built and steered by holders.

He shared results from around a million simulated games and a final, balanced deck of 71 Chaos cards. In four player games, every seat won about a quarter of the time.

A year later he looked back and asked who would carry the torch. The game was done, and the community had it.
That's what this site is: the community picking up the torch and shipping it.
