Privacy policy

What we keep

Your game profile. A random player id and a device key stored in your browser, the name you choose, your scores, games, badges and leaderboard places. You can play as a guest without giving us anything else.

Your wallet, if you connect one. Your public Solana address, the Shytoshi Shadows and the amount of $SHY it holds (read from the public blockchain), so we can show holder perks and records. We never ask for or see your private keys or seed phrase. Connecting only asks you to sign a message.

Your purchases. What you bought, the amount, the payment's public transaction id on Solana, or for card payments the Stripe session id. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us.

Your X account, if you connect it. Your X user id, @username, display name and profile picture, plus the access tokens X gives us so you can post your results. We only read your own basic profile and only post when you press Post. We never read your timeline, followers or messages.

Suggestions you send. The text, any screenshot you attach and any contact details you choose to leave.

What we show publicly

Your player name, scores, cosmetics, your Shadow and, if you connected X, your @username with the X badge appear on leaderboards and in live matches. Wallet addresses can appear in the list of prize winners, because prizes are paid on chain. Contact details, device keys and X tokens are never shown.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent any data, run third party advertising trackers, or share your data with anyone except the services needed to run the site: our web host, Solana data providers to read the blockchain, Stripe for card payments, and X when you post there.

Cookies and storage

The game keeps your player id, settings and progress in your browser's local storage. The admin area uses a session cookie for the team only. We don't use advertising cookies.

Removing your data

Disconnect X or your wallet any time from your profile or the game. To have your profile, scores and suggestions deleted, message the team in the $SHY Telegram with your player name. Payment records needed for accounting may be kept, and anything already written to the Solana blockchain is public and permanent by design.
