Every deal is sealed
before anyone plays.
We publish a fingerprint of each deal before it's played and the deal itself after. You don't have to take our word for anything: this page checks it in your browser, with the same game engine you play on.
Before a deal is played, its seal goes up: a SHA-256 hash of the deal's secret. The Daily's seals are up a week early and posted in the Telegram chat every night.
Nobody can change the deal without changing its seal, and the seal is already public. That includes us.
After the deal is played, its secret is shown. Hash it and you get the seal back. The seed comes straight from it, and the deal comes from the seed.

Every live match shows its seal in the map header from the first turn. When the match ends, tap Verify deal, or pick one below.

The Daily seals
The seal is sha256("shy-daily|day|proof"). Once a day is over its proof opens, and the seed everyone was dealt is the proof's first 8 hex digits.
